The Passing Of Seasons
I began with a seed,
down deep within the earth,
I saw only darkness,
yet I still felt the sun,
And slowly I grew,
so gently at first,
sustained by your waters,
I reached up to you.
Your turbulent winds,
they came and they went,
and as seasons passed,
I swayed in the breeze,
Outstretched in all directions,
my limbs pulled back and forth,
and yet I did not break, I did not yield,
and still I continued to grow.
Minutes became hours,
and hours became days,
days became weeks,
then months and years,
And still I remained,
Growing ever stronger,
my roots stretching down,
grounding me to this place,
Your waters sustain me,

#1 "The Candle"
"As the Candle Lights,
And the flame begins to burn,
I see my Shadow"
#2 "The Journey"
Think not of heaven,
nor of hell beneath the ground,
just the life you lead
#3 "Natures Light"
Flowers bloom in spring,
with sun and water they grow,
reaching for the sky
"Every day they tell me,
every night they say,
do what your told,
be just like us,
for that is the only way,
Forget the fact that I am me,
that I have my own thoughts and ambitions,
I learn my own way,
I have my own life,
they still hold their position,
I think like me, I'm an outcast,
I think like them, I blend in,
I try to be different, I'm ostracized,
trade out my life for a suit and tie,
that's how it all begins,
And with every word and every gesture,
all this pressure mounts against me,
to wash away the colors,
and wipe my slate clean,
replaced with black and white,
There is no middle ground,
no shades of gray,
wha
The battle rages all around, as I still struggle to breath,
one by one we line the ground, this loss I can't believe,
I led them here, these noble men, they trusted in our cause,
This was not what I promised them, my strategy was flawed,
With strength in numbers we'd succeed, that was what we knew,
now I watch them fall and bleed, what else can I do?
We had every advantage, this fight should have been ours,
and yet we were abandoned, our allies were all cowards
I see them now upon the hill, with hatred in my eyes,
they could have stood beside us still, yet they leave us to die,
All the men we fought beside, all these many months,

Little Jimmy Mama's Boy
Little Jimmy was the type of kid who couldn't wait,
to run amok across the lawn and find new things to break.
Its not like he meant to cause a ruckus all the time,
he'd just run and jump and play till it was five past nine.
"Jimmy Edmund Scotty Bob!" his loving Mom would call,
yea that's right, he had four names, it surely wasn't small.
"Yea mom? Is it supper time?!" the little guy would ask,
"Jimmy, no it's time for bed!" "BUT WHY?!" he'd always ask.
And every night of every day they'd go through the same thing,
with neither ever backing down like fighters in the ring,
but finally he would relent and then he'd go to bed,

FINALLY, after almost two years, I'm back in action and looking to post things again. I took a really long break to delve into some of my other interests, but my artistic desires are starting to return, and with that, a whole slew of pictures, poems, songs and artwork are soon to be created and uploaded.
So far I've since uploaded my most arduous project yet. . .
a musical narrative short story that took me over 12 hours to create.
More to come in the coming days. . . . (and this time I mean it)
Well, first of all, I would just like to say thanks to everyone who took the time to agnowledge the comments I wrote for all your many pictures, as I really do appreciate it.
I just wish my gallery had as much to offer as most of yours. Unfortunately, I have been rather limited in time and materials lately, so I have not been able to do much in the way of updates.
Secondly, thank you all for giving me (as well as the other billion people on this site) the opportunity to witness such a vast array of amazing and beautiful works of art. Time and again I am very impressed with what I've seen from all of you. Whether it be a portrait, painting,
